For a spa experience with a difference, a natural mud bath at L’eau Michel Mud Volcano in southern Trinidad should be your next destination. Unlike other mud volcanoes in Trinidad, the mud at L’eau Michel is semi solid and liquid enough for visitors to soak in. The mud here is not hot despite what the term ‘volcano’ might suggest. On the contrary, the mud is cool and smooth to the touch and so dense it keeps you a float. Listed opening hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM.
